Things that warm my heart

The human experience is interesting, to say the least. With all this chaos in the world, I like to delve into the simple things in life. Sometimes an interaction with a stranger can turn my day around. On other days, watching people interact in simple ways warms my heart. Sometimes the simple things get you through the hard stuff.

Here are a few:

• When people call me my nickname eb 

• Someone touching your hand or arm while laughing 

• Little dances of Happy, especially when someone is eating food

• When someone says, “This made me think of you”.

• When someone remembers something you said during a conversation that you didn’t think they would remember. Or when someone notices the small things about you without you telling them

• A stranger geeking over their hobby or passion

• Late night walks

• How stranger reacts to animals

• When someone gives you a hug but then hugs you tighter 

• Running outside to see a rainbow or a full moon 

• Personal Greetings/ secret handshakes

• Inside jokes with your friends and family
